SELECTED PROJECTS:
• Managed the technology implementation of a 150,000
square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility built
in County Cork, Ireland, for a major multi-national corporation.
Matrix-managed an international technology team consisting
of over 25 employees, consultants and vendor companies to
complete this two-year project on time, on spec, and within
its $3.5M IT budget.
• Contracted by its board of directors to bring managerial
focus, operational standards and stronger customer synergy
to a national full-service IT solutions provider. Implementing
process directives, mentoring senior staff, guiding company
direction and client interaction -- resulting in both improved
client satisfaction and a 20-percentage point increase to
the bottom line.
• Analyzed business practices/needs and technology requirements
of a company that had no IT department, then created and executed
the plan which created that IT department, successfully serving
the company’s business practices and satisfying its
technology needs.
• Analyzed the outsourced IT needs of a convergence
technology and communication solutions provider and created
an RFQ for the solution. Managed a series of projects and,
as the on-demand CIO/CTO, continue to team with the VP of
development as he embarks on new technology initiatives.
• Re-engineered department and infrastructure of a troubled
IT organization, creating a stable, scalable IT environment
that gave users new-found confidence in the company's previously
unreliable platforms and non-client-service-oriented staff.
• Functioning as the on-demand CIO/CTO for a regional
real-estate developer. Provide ongoing guidance, direction
and project management for their technology initiatives.
